On 20 September 2001, Mistys started arriving in Durango, Colorado for their biannual reunion.  It was a particularly poignant event because it fell on the heels of the attacks on the World Trade Centers, and although some Mistys couldn't make it to Colorado due to airline turmoil or because of commitments with respect to the disaster, those who made it to Durango agreed that it was a truly memorable experience.  The Sheraton Tamarron Resort was our base of operations from which we golfed, toured Mesa Verde National Park, shopped in Durango, rode the old narrow gauge railroad through autumn colors to Silverton, ate B-B-Q at the Fogleman's B Bar J Ranch, sang "God Bless America" at the banquet, proposed more than a few toasts, and TALKED!
